Hi , i got 3310 ver 4.19 MCU ROM CHECKSUM ERROr .. when i try to replace mcu .. same problem mcu rom checksum error !!

when i try to write another full backup ( 100% working ) mcu rom checksum faild <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> nothing remove it .. i tried write any other full backups with eeprom ( just to try i know its wrong ) 4.02 .. 4.18 .. 4.45 ..etc all is working and after write MCU Rom CHECKSUM FAILED !!

Sometimes Contact service is hardware related. Have you tried to reflow your CCONT and COBBA IC?

i think that the flash is destroyed i have faced this problem before .

HI , Thnx for help . - Mcu rom checksum failed 100% sw problem ..

- which flash is destroyed .. i flashes 1000% working flash and not 1 i tried many flashes !?

i still get this kind of phones somtimes .. anyhelp ?

Hi,

You have to replace the Flash chip, and after that reflash the backup you have.

This problem is well explained in the service manuals.

Hi You can test your flash chip by write to it and after that read and compare? But I think your flash wrong you must replace flash chip. and re flash with full backup best regards
