3310 v 4.06 Full Flash -> 00400000 - GSM-Forum

Hi All,

I full flashed with a wrong fls file (Ben flash) a 3310 v 4.06 and the ppm doesn't match, the phone doesn't power on.
I Think it's a french phone (ITINERIS or SFR) ... I tried to write another full flash v 4.06 from a BOUYGUES phone, still the same thing.

Could anyone send me this fls file (00200000 to 00400000) from an ITINERIS or SFR 3310 v 4.06.

salut ray,

Si tu as un probléme avec un 3310 ver 4.06.
Tu fais un backup 00200 à 003D avec un mobile qui fonctionne et tu le flashe dans celui qui est HS, cette manip reveille ton 3310.
Cette manip marche sur 3310 ver 4.06 only.
je t'envoie un full sur ton mail.

Je vais parler en Anglais pour ne pas choquer les autres lecteurs.

I've tried your solution, the phone powers on now, but it dipslays "carte sim refusée" when i put simcard inside.
I tried to unlock it with Jethro and NU2000. It says Unlock OK ... but always "sim refusée". Shall I try to flash it with 00200000 -> 00300000 flash file ?

If it is the case, may I use Boyugues Flash instead of Itineris ? Ou bien peu importe ?

If you flashed 3310 from 20 - 40 it will have changed the IMEI, never flash 3310 above 30 .

Hi Rayback,

You can only reflash until 003D0000! Changing the original content of eeprom area of the flash 003D00000-00400000 using another phone's eeprom data is a big mistake...

You will end up in "all locks closed which can't be opened"..It is since, every nokia eeprom content is unique, even they have the same mcu sw and ppm package versions.

As far as I understand, your phone know is half wasted....

As I experienced this will happen if:

MCU SW(00200000-003300000)----flashed with wrong firmware version--------can't pwr on.

PPM (003300000-003D00000)-----flashed with wrong ppm package version-----can't find network and resets.

EEPROM (003D00000-00400000)----flashed with diff. content-----all locks closed and can't be open.

hi,
i had a 3310 ver 4.06 from Bouygous and tried to unlock it with NU2000 i then Got CS
i flashed it then with a full back up from another 3310,from 20-40 same version, same network,big mistake of course, it could find the Network, even though, the IMEI was changed!! but you could only see the name of the network and the reception was practically zero and you couldn't make or receive any calls.
i brought the phone to Nokia center, they upgraded the phone to 4.35 for me and then all the 4 locks were closed! and of course you couldn't use it with any simcard.
another dead phone,End of Story

If its 3310 (00200000-00400000) you had different experience...But I'm sure that if you had overwritten your eeprom content using another phone's eeprom content, your phone will not accept any sim card (all locks will be closed)..

On the other hand,if phone's software are correct and good, resetting can be also caused by a hardware problem (solution....L511, R301).
