hi
i have this phone CS repaired, now it displays insert simcard and locked on all locks;
when i turn it on, it blinks one time ant then turns on;
a service guy told me that it is not repairable!!!
is it true?
could somebody unlock it?

what version is that???

a lot of forumers here do fix those kinds of problems, but you need to bring the phone to them.

if its an old 5110, ver 5.25 downwards, matbe nokiatool 034 can do th ejob

Hi MDR,

Were you able to solved this type of problem on 5110 ver 5.25 and lower using nokia tool 034 before?

I got the same case ver 5.24, nokia tool can't simply eradicate the problem.I also tried KATOT's method without success, as what he said his method is good only for 3210v5.36 and 5110v5.29..

And since, I don't have the capability to reflash..The only solution I know is to change COBBA and use its pair of eeprom dump..

Any suggestions?!!

Hi,
I tried Katot metod on 5.29 and nothing.
Did somebody try to flash with Dejan's flasher and get rid of 4 locks closed ?

Hi,

I also tried Dejan's flasher to solved all locks closed problem without success.

You can fool the firmware from seing the actual locks condition on the eeprom by "partial flashing".

But still "simcard is not accepted" eventhough, all locks can be seen as "open" after the process.

Is it possible to solved this kind of problem by using dejan'flasher???.....Maybe on phones that flash emulates eeprom???
