Member: 7439 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 6210 Incorrect Flash 1) - I dropped my phone about a week ago (it was insured), so sent it off to be repaired. It was a one2one 6210, 5.27 2) - Received my phone today, tried to use my BT Cellnet chip in it, and it didn't work, so I thought they must have reset it. 3) - I proceed to unlock the phone with the old 5.27 flash file (using Green Flasher), I didn't check the software version, and it didn't work!!! 4) - I now have an incorrectly flashed phone, which is unable to switch on. How do I resolve this? I don't even know what version the phone was! I have some software, MBUS/FBUS and Dejan leads. Thanks |

Member: 4246 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Simply write new MCU and PPM with flasher and recalculate FAID with nk_calc(use F1).Reset factory defaults you can use nk_calc for unlock, too:use F3(SP data) If you need any MCU or PPM for 6210 5.56,mail me. regards |

Member: 7439 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | not a clue... even though i flashed my phone before, really i'm a beginner at all this, so you'll have to break things down for me a little here (sorry to be a pain)... 1) Simply write new MCU and PPM with flasher and recalculate FAID with nk_calc(use F1).Reset factory defaults ===Firstly, I do not know what you mean when you say "Write new MCU & PPM". Also, "Recalculate FAID with nk_calc (I do not have) 2) you can use nk_calc for unlock, too:use F3(SP data) ===I think I will need the software to do this. 3) I do not know what software version the phone WAS, so will nk_calc tell me? Please send to [email protected] Thanks. PS. I do not know what MCU & PPM are, if they are like FLSs I may need 5.27, 5.36, & 5.44 (maybe 5.56 as you suggested). |

Member: 7439 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | getting there... hi, i have downloaded the nk_calc from mudboy's website, and i am beginning to understand the processes of all this. just a question (others may know too): If I have flashed, or attempted to flash the phone with another FULL backup (i.e. 6210, 5.36 FULL), when I use NK_Calc will it still calculate the ORIGINAL data from the phone? Think thats all for now. Thanks for your help Mudboy, you sent me in the right direction. |

Member: 7439 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | also... In NK_Calc, does it take long to calculate? As I wasn't sure about this, I have exited the program twice. I'm leaving it for a while this time just in case... |

Member: 7653 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 823 | hi, if you get a 6210 file (any version) thats size is: 00200000-005A0000, just write it to your phone then use nk_calc to update the FAID (press F1). the phone will then work again on one2one. to unlock it, connect it back to nk_calc and press F3 (correct sp locks). your phone will then work on any network. if the file you got was 00200000-00600000 and you had no back up first before writing, just use nk_calc and press F2 then type in the IMEI thats on the sticker on the back of your phone before doing as above |

Member: 7439 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | dudley, thanks a lot for your knowledge. ok, so far I have only been able to find 200000-400000 for 6210s. If you could post a link to a 6210 5.27 or greater, for the addresses you specified (200000-5A00000), then I would be most grateful. |

Member: 7439 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | i may have the wrong type of comm. cable... i found a backup on the net, from 00200000 - 005a0000, and the phone switched on! hooray! unfortunately though, it's got no network, so i have to rethink what i'm going to do about this (has anyone got an ENGLISH 6210 5.27 or greater flash file from 00200000 - 005a0000? - or can someone make me one?) also, the comm. cable I think may not be working for some reason. i had a flasher kit, and bought a comm. port adapter to turn it into a data cable. could this be a problem? thanks for your help so far guys, |
