6210 v5.36 unlocking problem (help!!!)

what I did:<br />flash patch partial to phone. then used nokiatool by pro to close simlock1. but I accidentally clicked on close without typing FFFFF on the box.<br />now I can't use it with any simcard

How or what do I do to fix this?

I've tried flashing patch partial again...the original partial again then the patch partial...nothings seems to open simlock1.

1. Get your backup full flash and reflash your phone.<br />2. Make sure you have everything back to normal as it was before.<br />3. Try again. This time do it right! <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

when i press unlock...its done in less than a second...when i check locks using nokiatool, simlock1 still close. i still can't enter FFFFF in the box.

why were u using nokia tool to unlock this phone? Dont need 2 partial unlock for 6210's!

if flashing the correct unlock partial is not working now, then it seems u may have altered epprom info.

i just found out too...(analyzing rolis program)<br />I downloaded a partial for 6210 536 in a zip file.<br />had two fls files in it...one suppose to be patched and the other original...so I figured use same procedure with 3330 4.50...I guess not. grrr!!

will unlocking using nokiatool alter eeprom??

will getting a backup 2-3D from another 6210 5.36 and upload to my 6210 help or even fix my problem??

i think with 6210 u could try flashing same mcu to phone 00200000 - 00520000 to try and repair

not to sure, maybe others can help.

isn't 2-52 too long...might mess up the imei...

can someone tell me where exactly the imei is stored? EEPROM 005FC000-00600000? or else where?<br />coz' I remember reading that imei is somewhere after 3f-4. and so to be safe only load till 3d?

It'a all said. To unlock a 6210 you just need 1 partial. You got 2 partials, 1 unlocked and 1 original (locked). To unlock the phone you just need to flash it with the unlocked flash at 380000. The original flash is used to relock the phone.

in 6210 eeprom is 5f to 60........3d to 40 is on other phones like 3310,8210,8850,......<br />i think no help if flashing it again but you can try.......flash just the mcu flash or somebodys backup from 200 to 400............<br />dont touch eeprom because you will kill the phone.......

its fixed...what i did...

1)upgrade to 5.44<br />2)unlock using flashtool (error using rolis 5.14 and using dark 2.14d reading backup ok but writing partial flash boot count error even though I tried all boot loaders that came with the shell)
