Do the standard original Nokia 8250 covers fit the 8210? if i bought 8250 keypads?

i've tried it with mine and nope it does not fit. they have conversion housing out in the market.

thats right mate i thought they were the same and should fit but when i got mine had to return it to the shop... could be just my phone but i tried a couple and still cant get it to fit..

the original 8250 can fit into 8210 but the keypads cannot be pressed properly, especially the buttons in the centre. That is why there is those 8250 to 8210 compatible covers.

ahhh i see...
so if i went out and bought an Original 8250 cover and then bought some compatible keypads, will that work?

it will not work because those compatible keypads are meant for the 8210 -> 8250 covers. The compatible keypads can't fit into the original covers at all. The one and only solution is to get those compatible covers with the keypads. They mimic 97% alike if you get those better ones. You can only find the difference if you really look really hard.
