I've noticed that the cable schematics for the 8xxx series phones are the same as the the ones for the 51/61, is it possible to make your own datacable for the 8210? are the plugs available? or would it be cheaper to just buy a retail one?

yeah? kewl, where? and approx how much? I've asked around shops and they're about $40, but they're $32 at the swap meets..
