8250 "contact service" How to repair?? - GSM-Forum

Hello

Can someone plz tell me how can i repair my 8250 contact service. It does not blink twice and then contact service, as soon as u on the phone it says contact service.

"COULD THIS B A HARDWARE CONTACT SERVICE??"

Hi,

You have to test it with Wintesla (which start up test fails).

Please don't ask me how <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

If the Firmware was altered, could be SW fault, try to reflash ( only MCU image ) it might help.

80-90% of all i had repaired are hardware errors.

Hi

I tested it with wintesla and it gave me "failed" on eeprom something ok and imei shows 656565656565656

Some 1 yold me if u get this type of error there is no soln to fix it up. Can some1 plz explain??

When you try to check it with Nokia Tool and you see: IMEI: 000000000000000 ORIG IMEI: 656565656565656

Sad to say but your eeprom data is erase! But in somecase there is hope, depend on the eeprom content. I encountered it only once in 8210, I fix it.

I have this problem too, i use hot air gun to **** the mad2 ic it can use two days only after that the phone is DEAD. <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <img src="frown.gif" border="0">
