9210 contact service


dear friends,
help me pleasee.
i need help regarding 9210 contact service.
with mbus cable i checked reason for conatct service.
its "COBBA PARALLEL FAILED"
then i reflowed cobba.
now when i did DSP test ---- IT said DSP TEST OK.
but still contact service is still blinking.
what to do.

what equipment do i need for this?.
please help me

I take it you have checked IMEI to make sure that is right?, if not then try software upgrade, if still not working then i guess you still have hardware problem.

Try changing the COBBA and reconstructing data with eeprom tools, it should work 100%

If it doesn't work, the connection between COBBA and MAD is probably faulty, but that is improbable in a 9210.

i reflowd cobba .now it showed sim card not accepted .
i cleared everything with eeprom tools.
but few buttons in set are working.
i reopened the set . and fitted everything now it again showing CONTACT SERVICE.
then i left it likethat for some time.
now it is showing empty display with lights blinking.
what to do now.
inner screen is also off

I think that your battery might be low
Try charging it externally, or powering the phone manually with, for example, griffin.
Again I recommend you to change the COBBA, that is your problem!

Problem is still the COBBA... did you change it???
If so, it looks like your MAD-COBBA connection is faulty
In which case, there is nothing you can do.

still lights are blinking .

How about you measure that Vcobba first ?
make sure CCONT has supply to COBBA
then see what happen !

REFLOW WILL NOT HELP !

Hi
i also have 9210 which show contact service
but in eeprom tool it show "phone not connected" , so my cable is correct and i already solved this type of problem before
so i chek cable with working 9210i , so some time it connected and some time show "phone not connected"
any suggestion
