9210 main display white and device memory not ready - GSM-Forum

Hello...
I have a problem with one 9210...
The phone display working fine, but the main display is white only...
Also...after i call a number and i press green key to get the history calls, the phone say `Device memory not ready`- so the comunicator does`n start!
The flex cable and display are ok....tested on other board.
I flash the phone many time..so is no software problem
Formating not woking..maybe becose the comunicator does`n start!
So i try to rehot MADLINDA proccesor on the board...but problem not fixed....

Any ideea???

I have same problem long time ago...Change MADALINA with ANDREEA and problem solved

for myself problem nokia 9210i replaced MAD resulted negative. what could you be?

Just format the Set USING CTRL + ALT + F when boot up the phone. Or search the forum for 9210 Formatting.

Hi everyone

I need some help... I'm noob about 9210i.

I got at work a brand new 9210i, but the internal display seems destroyed.

(it displays all white, sometimes black bands) i can't get the menus.

I tried to format with ctrl+alt+F on boot but i didn't succed in it. I thing the display is crashed.

Before i replace it, do you know another way to test it?

Now, i have permanently a 1 inch vertical black band and the display is white.

Do you think the display is crashed, or it's a software problem?

Thanks for your help, i'd like to have your opinion before i buy a new display ;-)
