Bad Connection with New Dejan Soft - GSM-Forum

When I try the new dejan soft nk_calc to connect a 3310 I get the message bad connection. I know almost for sure my cable is ok because it also works with nokia tool and reads the phone without any problem. I run the program on a p2 350mhz with network cards etc. I also tried it on a p1 laptop and desktop but no succes. Does anybody know what the right bios settings are? Does anybody know what the problem could be? I also heard about a version which could be runned in dos mode, could someone send me this?

You Neen Only M-Bus Cable.

Try to build the schematic dejan included... none of my auto or manual switching cables (tried 3 different ones) would work... so I build dejan's schema and it works perfectly!

hello ppl if u have a data cable for nokia just put a zenner diode 1n4148 just short the TX/RX and ground will do.

Otherwise use B-Phreaks version of the Dejan soft.

Works also with autoswitch f/m bus cables.

@ced1298:Hi, 1N4148 is not zenner diode but its universal diode.

test with com 2

In my computer, the same cable (autoswitch) work good in com 2 ,but not work in com1.
