for Logger maker and to Vsh GSM ...I looked through the source code of dejan 1.04 and noticed the following :

-the Faid is already existing as the 16 bytes preceeding the PPM

- Cobba ID is not a part of any calculation.. I think so with high percentage..

- all what dejan do is writing the MCU and PPM and then taking the FAID after being decrypted using the Key which is in the PIC.. then give it to the software to send it using Mbus protocol.. the PIC is blind ..and cant do any thing or any check except decrypting the already made Encrypred FAID which is preceeded to the PPM and starts with DK ( (D)ejan (K)aljevik )

and the only thing that I see that cobba ID is apart of is the log file which needs IMEI too and that only for changing IMEI and unlocking and fixing corrupted EEPROM which I heard that it costs 50$ to get the *.set file from dejan..

correct me if I'm wrong...
