Only with service prog and dongel (firmware unlock),I think.

To doityourself unlock at home you need flashing, flashing need more power voltage than your phone serve, so you need a flashing cabel to serve the flashing voltage(from your PC) and the communication beetwen the phone and PC.

Erm.. I didn't follow that one!<br />No - no phones can be unlocked by IR - you need either mbus (for old phones) or flasher cable (for new ones)!<br />You don't need service soft and dongle! Just use a normal dejan flasher cable (about £16 in the UK) and rolis software!<br />Full guide is available at my site at <a href="http://www.cellularbase.co.uk" target="_blank">www.cellularbase.co.uk</a> !!!

u can't use IR for unlocking nokia ,,,u can use it only to uploud ,download pics and data and make phone mangements,,,,,
