Changing Ring tone in N6150 - GSM-Forum

Hi

I wanted add one Ring tone in Nokia 6150 and I did it, but after that I couldn't calculate FAID.The phone was working but it had no network!! Is it becase I can upload only one ringtone to this phone so I can't write one more ?

look for faid *******... it has a faid calculator n koci logger. this will solve your no network problem.. i think u can add upto 20 to 30 new ringtones.

mine... i have uploaded 65 ringtones... or u can use FAID calculator by TEK...

if u want a copy i'll send u one... just post your email add...

hello, try correcting the checksum first before calculating faid. use nfree or rolis for this. i hope this helps

No there is no possible to find network after this operation !!!
Is there somebody who tried add ringtone in N6150 with success ?

Try calculating faid via logs, it should work. Also, check if crc are correct if not correct them using rolis or other program available in the net. if you need such programs just say so, or mail your request.

Ok
I've added 22 new ringtones to my 6150 v.P23T, so now I've 58 new ringtones 35 oryginal+22 added+1 received = 58 new ringtones

And this is a max nr of new rings, if u add more u won't see more than 58 but also u'll lose yours received tone. Everything done as I wrote earlier.

Similar sittuation is with N3210. U can't add(u can but u won't see it after) as many new ringtones as u want, just 1 less than to 6150 as above because here u have 1 received tone & one from composer .

i added 58 ringtone to 6150 p523 too , i hear the ringtone when i select it in the menu , but no hear when somebody call me!
what is the problem
