Post Contact Service 8850/8210 Repair :)

[Contact Service Repairer for 8210, 8850 by X-Shadow]
[December 23, 2000 - - email: [email protected] ]

* This will only repair 'Contact Service' due to bad Checksum in EEPROM
* This will only repair Checksum Block 1
* If you are not sure about what you are doing, make a backup of the
entire flash first of your phone by reading address 00200000 to
00400000 and the put readed file in a safe place.
* I am not liable to any damages that may happen to your phone while
doing this. If you dont know what you are doing, then might as well
stick to sending Logos and Ringertones...

1. Read Address 003d0000 to 003e0000 using Dejan Flasher
2. Run Hackman 3.21 and open Flash.out
3. Delete first 38 bytes or address 0000:0000 upto 0000:0025
4. Save file as EEPROM.bin
5. Run Bartek Contact Service Repairer 1.0
6. Click 3210 in Phone type and open file EEPROM.bin (You must
see correct IMEI at 'Displayed IMEI' otherwise you are
doing something wrong)
7. Look at 'Counted' Checksum and take note of the 2 bytes
Example: Counted: [8F (143dec)] [33 (51dec)]
* first byte is 8F
* second byte is 33
8. Go back to Hackman 3.21 and open Flash.out
9. Edit address 0000:0144 and put the first byte from Bartek Soft
10. Edit address 0000:0145 and put the second byte from Bartek Soft
11. Save file as Flash.fls and put file in 'c:\nk_files' directory
12. Write to Address 003d0000 with file Flash.fls using Dejan Flasher

Hello X-Shadow,

Any ideas where EEPROM area is in 3310? How about 6210? I think it is not the same because I try to read also address 003d0000 upto 003e0000 but I do not get IMEI in that area.

Hi all

I have 7110 v4.80 contact service.
i power on the phone and this is OK
After 2 seconds the phone power off and
power on with Contact Service

I have extracted the EEPROM from the FLASH
and I read it with \ Contact - Service 1.0 by
Bartek \ and everything is OK
Can somebody help me?
For 7110 v4.80 and 4.94:
Address of EEPROM; 5FC000 - 60C000

Best Regards
