Member: 24917 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Contact Service after upgrading 9210 -> 9210i I have 9210 upgraded to 9210i (I don't know if it was Griffin or Wintesla). I get phone dead. I flashed phone with Wintesla and FLS-4 again to 9210 and now PDA is alive, but blacklight is f***ed. If you open PDA it will light for 1-2 seconds and after it it still light but less. And in phone part are still "Contact service". Probably I should write full eeprom to this phone, but I don't know adresses. And what hardware should I use - I don't have Griffin, only FLS-4 - but it can't flash eeprom, only FPS-8. How to write full eeprom? Is anyone have it and adresses? P.S. Sorry for my bad english |

Member: 4122 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Hi, You did something that's impossible. If you look at the size of the flashes you'll notice why your phone is in 'Contact Service'. The RAE-3 has a MCU of 13mB and the RAE-5 is 16mB. The ppm of RAE-3 is 2mb and from the RAE-5 it's 4mB. Only good thing to do is to start flashing it back to a 9210. Otherwise it will never work the way it should I guess.... |

Member: 24917 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Explain Hi, I completly agree with you. Problem is: someone flashed 9210 to 9210i and phone of course was dead. Then I bought this phone and flashed again to 9210. After that PDA is OK (working), except blacklight, which is turning off after 1 second if I open PDA part. On the phone side (small LCD) there is Contact Service. I think that is corupped eeprom problem (no blacklight and CS), so I fix IMEI by NokiaTool 1.8. But the problem still exist. I think that I need to write whole eeprom, which was damaged when flashed to 9210i, but I have only orginal Nokia FLS-4. FLS-4 will flash all DCT-3 phones, but not correct for example eeprom. To do this I should have FPS-8. Maybe Griffin can do it? But I can't have this. So, anyone know if can I flash 9210 with simple Dejan interface? Anyone got working eeprom and adresses or full (firmware+ppm+eeprom) flash? Thanks, M. |

Member: 7939 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | I guess you need a working eeprom, but the problem is no one has one and as you can't use the normal Dejan interface to flash the phone not sure how you can fix this, you say you got roils 1.8 to work on it as I have tried many times with that but have never got it to work for me I use eeprom tools V3 for all my 9210 work (unlocking, IMEI repairing) and have no problems with that say you try with that to see if that help's. |

Member: 24917 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi, :have tried many times with that but have never got it to work for me I'm sorry - I tried many programs to set imei, and I wrote "NokiaTool 1.8" only for example to explain that I used rebuilding IMEI via Mbus protocol, not with flashing, but of course it isn't all - as I know I need to write full eeprom area :-( But how..? So please forgive me, M. |

If you don't have it, there's little to do, you could try reading a working 9210, writing it to your 9210, and repairing imei and splock data... Good luck! Jan Farrell www.unlocKing.net |
