I am looking to change the IMEI number on my cell. I think it may have been stolen....because when I bought it second hand worked for only a short while and then shut down. Thanks

OK, I don't know if you have been looking though the nokia forums... Couse without a security box and some other stuff from nokia the only way to change IMEI is to go into the phone and reprogram the eeprom or do some chaning with the flash and coba chip, and this is not very easy...
But maybe some day there will come a program so all we have to do is hook it up with a usual mbus cable....

And by the way I did not want to teach you morals...

use IMEI changer.

what you do is copy a binary file from a new or old 6110 and put in in yur hard drive. when the imei changer opens a bin file, redirect it from the file u save and just change the last 2 digits to any number you want.

lets just hope taht no one uses that particular number.

But what particular IMEI Changer software you use? There are lots of software for changing IMEI in nokia but nothing seem to work!
Did you test it yourself?
Thanks,

tested it w/ a 5110 and a 6150 both older versions [4.++] and it worked. so i assumed it will work with a 6110. the program is called easy imei changer.
