3310 Contact Service (Donble blinking) not-repairable !!!

Hi , <br />here is strange problem ..<br />we used to repair 3310 with Mcu Rom Checksum Failed . with writing new Mcu or PPM with same Ver . or ViperBjk ..<br />here is 2 phones :<br />the first :<br />tried all above without success .. even if i write another Full backup from 100% working phone not same version of ppm or mcu ...<br />still CS after Insert Sim Card .

phone 2 : <br />tried all above but this phone somtimes working for minutes and somtimes Mcu rom checksum Failed . when i try in selftests in tesla and press on mcu rom checksum many times ..<br />i see phone restarts and test is PASSED .. when i re-press to re-test phone restarts and test Failed .<br />, also tried full backup from another working phone ... SAME RESULTS <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

hope to get usuful info .. its the first time i see this problems ..

Hello<br />Usually we solved that problem by reflash it with wintesla to correct the MCU checsum problem, and how do you backup your phone ? with full 0020000-0060000? don't forget to cut the eeprom part or your phone's imei will be changed ,and as you can't update the cobba imei area your phone will not be work.<br />Andother method is get the full backup from a same version phone and change the imei ,then store it to the bad one. I have try to do it for serval phones and it's work! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

HI , <br />i wanan say thnx for yr help in he first ,<br />To Bert :<br />i know that i can't write eeprom of other phone but i said i tried this just for be sure that somthing strange ... as u know that when contact service due mcu rom checkum in phone or any other SW problem .. u can write all flash and 100% phone will work with Insert Sim card .. ( sure with EE FF ) but i did that to check ..<br />after that phone is still the same ( Insert-CS ) !! <br />so this is strange !<br />about wintesla .. i think its the same like dejan 1.00 but with calculating FAID and i can calculate FAId but phone didnt work to start write back its eeprom and calculate FAID ..!

Andother method is get the full backup from a same version phone and change the imei ,then store it to the bad one. I have try to do it for serval phones and it's work!

- How to do it ?? manual change for imei or try via ViperBjK tool ? do u think it will work !?<br />any other suggest ?

To Komix : <br />if u need backup from 20:40 to try repair Mcu checksum ... u can't .. cuz after read phone and check with nokia-tool flash is working 100% nothing in it ...

so send u it too ?
