First of all, I have to say that supertrio 2.0 is very hard to crack!!!. After this I have to say:

On october 12th I will be on birthday... so... very cheers for me!!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Some questions for the nokia service equipments sellers/buyers:

1- If you know that nokia is changing the flashes devices (known as FPS-8 instead of FPS-4 + dongle devices), why are people still going to make deals buying/selling the flash devices that ONLY WORKS with DCT-3 phones? I think... many phones have you got (the buyer) to buy this to make it rentable, because as I know nokia is changing algorithms in DCT-3 phones to make impossible to unlock/upgrade, so it will be impossible to do that until other genie, like Dejan, Viper BJK or others make it possible. So, I think... people (sellers) wants to cheat (I think they cheat because of the customers can only make deal with a very little period) I want to use the flash upgrade only for experimental things, not for making bussiness, but if I used it to make deals, I would think a lot about how many time I can make profit with this device.

2- To ALL SELLERS OF THE NOKIA FLASH DEVICES It's only one suggestion: why you don't sell your equipments quite cheap if you know nokia has changed the algorithms? Is only a suggestion, don't get angry with me <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

3- To Dejan: You told everybody that you will give for free the Flasher 1.04 when Nokia change the algorithm, so... can you make it?

4- As you know only want to use it for experimental purposes (make my own menus, etc) if someone can help me, please do it, like a birthday gift... <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

THE END:

I only write this to open the eyes to everybody, because I think business is business... but cheat people, knowing that will not help them anymore is not a good business, because people will not trust you anymore... Please don't get angry with me, and help me if you can.

I agree in few things but mostly I disagree. Here is my oppinion:

1. Don't know why do you call "cheaters" people who sell the dongle. I will explain you on a example. My friend has two dongles. He imports Nokia phones and upgrades them with our PPM as well as with SW upgrade if needed. Both counters on his dongles have a total of more than 5500 phones. I hope you know how much 5000 phones is. So where is the problem? He payed off his both dongles and made good money from them and he has them only for two months!!!

As you said that you just want to use the flash upgrade only for experimental things, then you don't need the dongle at all. So don't put yourself in the same basket with the people who need this dongle. You just wanna play with it. There are 5 million other ways to play. I don't buy 2000 US$ toys, except if it's a car.

I recently sold a dongle to a gsm shop owner (10 days ago) and he almost has payed it off. A friend of mine sold a dongle two weeks ago to an other gsm shop owner and that guy had 2000 Nokia phones to put new PPM inside. Can you guess if he did pay it off? Probably in one day <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> My dongle has payed itself off and now I'm making profit only becuse I needed this dongle to offer people something that only few unlockers in my town can offer. That was the reason - to be different and a step ahead - and not to play with it or use it like a DB9 to DB25 adapter for my printer...

2.) You need to divide people who need this "toy" from the people who dont need this "toy". Then you can come back to the forum and write a realy constructiv topic about this what you tried to write right now. That was your biggest mistake. Idea for this topic was quite good but you didn't analize enough all aspects...

3.) So what if Nokia will soon change the algorithm? I believe Nokia is not stupid to stop producing phones (3310 for example) which they sell in thousands and thousands each day around the world. Would you do that? Would you trow money in the trash can? Of course not. So no fear for that. Current Nokia models will be available on the market for a long long time. If you know just a little bit marketing, you will see that I'm right...

4.) If I was Dejan, I would never give it for free. Too many people bought this hardware and there is too much money in the game that he will risk his head and release it for free. No fear for that. Dejan is more clever than you think...

5.) About your conclusion and accusations about cheating people. I will repeat once again. People who have interest will buy this dongle. People who have many phones, good gsm businesses, people on specific market (like in my country), people who unlock a lot of phones etc. etc... Who will not buy this dongle? You, because you don't need it. You just want to play. Most memebers of this forum, from which half of them are just kids and "send me send me" icons, 99% people which wrote me things like "Hi, I need 3 dongles. What is the price?" <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> etc... etc...

So just leave the people to decide by themselves. You also don't like that someone tells you what to do? For me the dongle was rentable. For my friend both dongles were more than rentable. If it is not rentable for you, does that means it is not rentable for anyone?

My conclusion: nobody does exactly know what Nokia will do or has in plan. There were so many informations on the net in the last 12 months and nothing came up. People should stop post desinformations and crap like "I have a friend which have a friend, and that friend has a friend in Nokia service and he said... blah blah". Nokia does not reveal its plans and nobody knows what exactly will hit the market. One thing is for shure. Nokia will not stop produce their favourite models as long as the market demand is huge. So there will always be unlock & repair work for me, you and all of us. And dongles will continue to be sold but maybe for cheaper price...

@ Spalato: I agree with you 100% I am looking to buy one of these dongles I know I will be able to make money back very quickly. Only problem is I do not have the money to buy it if I did then boy beleive me I would. So now what I must do is save up and when new solution comes out to do 8310 (maybee this will be like 3330 4.30 or even worse. No downgrade) I will have the money to buy it then I will be one of very few people in London unlocking Nokia's and I will make much money and I will be able to charge £15 because nobody else can do it. Also I am suprised that Dejan released 1.00b for free if it was me I would sell for £250. When he release it the nokey was out already and selling for £3000 odd so to see solution for £250 many people whould rush out to be the first to own one I almost did until I found scematic and made one myself. Lots of people will still buy it because they know that they can make £250 back within a week and he whould make lots of money.

Yes, It's a tool to make bussines!

But, know anybody an opportunity that people one who dont able(want to) change PPM so lot of phone in lettle time that worth he buy that dongle. Some like 5USD/1 PPM changig remote for examp. Payment safetly, full descripton what I have to do, what I need to, what versions work, how many times needed to this, etc. I maybe intersested for this kind of solution.

To masterID I agree with you that people like the remote upgrade solution. It's cheaper in the start but let me ask you one thing. What about if log fails.

I ask that because it happens sometimes that a Nokia won't be upgraded so easily because of an error. Sometimes it happen to me, like it happened tonight, that I upgrade a 3310 from 4.18 to 4.35 and upgrade failed. Then I tried to upgrade to 4.23, 4.24 even downgrade to older version and in the end I succseeded with upgrade to 4.45 without problems. 1 or 2 in a hundred fail due a to unknown reason (but are upgradable in the end as well) so if you try this via log, you can send 5-6 logs before you succseed and that's 25-30 US$. So you gonna charge your customer 50-60 US$?

With Dejan 1.04 I can flash a phone how much I like and as much as I like. If I already uploaded PPM to one of my customers, when he comes back and wants a newer SW version to be installed, I check his IMEI (to see if that phone already has been done by me) and install him newer MCU&PPM for free. So I keep my customer. With other products you can't do that. You have to charge your customer every time <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

To G-Man Of course, I agree. If there will be a apgrade of Dejan box or a other solution tu unlock new phones, I will buy it and same as you, be the first to have it. And make money of course <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> I'm not unlocking because I like to see many people visiting me but... yes, you got it <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
