Post "Flash Erase Error!" is it a f_loader prob ?


Hi m8s.....<br />i have 8210 v5.28 for unlocking with the flash id 008988c2<br />but iam unable to write the phone... i am using dfs214..<br />iam able to read the phone...but cannt write it.. it says "flash<br />status Error!" what is this error .. i am using the proper boot/flash loader for it..as describe in the DFS flah id list.... is there any special boot/flash loader for this Flash id type..? or what could be the problem.... i can open any other model.. so i think my cable is ok.. but i have change the cable too.. but the problem still exists.<br />Any one help me out

If you are using Dark flasher (2.14d) then use

boot: 956 bytes(default) <br />f loader: intel 16 (from flash id list)

this will write to 008988C2. (I have done so today), just remeber after each failed write attempt to disconnect battery from phone before trying again.

Some other info that might help is the cpu type setting in dark flasher.

My computer being slow means that dark flasher will only work if cpu type normal or slow is selected. ( error from dejan id i select fast).

so try and change these speed settings accordingly
