HOW ABOUT "LOCKING" (closed) the UNIT? Anyone knows... - GSM-Forum

... I have to LOCK Nokia 3210 units, fast and quick... it supposed to be version 6.00 units but I'm not sure what software to use... just try nokiatool and partial unlocker, but no success...

I try to be specific with one network...

I'm not sure with this but try to copy from a locked 3210 v6.0. Press f1 and read start add at 260000 and end add at 270000. Then flash this to your 3210. You're doing this for warranty purposes right? <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

I have this software!!! Its a modified version of Nokia Tools!!! It can UNLOCK & LOCK some new nokia phones, but not all!!! It only use MBUS cable!!!

ONLY FOR EXCHANGE!!!

If you want to relock the phone using partialliy locked partial it will only be locked to the original locked network, you cannot change it to be locked to a differnt network if the phone bersion is 5.31 or higher : ))

I agree with the " copy from a locked 3210 v6.0" but,.. is it really right to end the address at 270000?...

I think you just need to press F2 and flash it with the copied flash file (locked)..

correct me if i'm wrong...

2 ways to restore locks:

1. Get an "original" partial and upload it to your phone.

2. backup your phone, upload an earlier full backup (in case of 3210s eg. 5.20) No network, no problem just use nokia tool to lock to any network you like. Finally upload your original full content. Et voilá.

You may acquire a locked partial file using nu1.11 back-up option too....

... thanks all for your suggestions... but here is the complete story:

My friend imported 3210 v6.00 1000 units from Hongkong (locked to a Hongkong Network), they unlocked it with Flasher... OK no problem at all... ... but now they want to sell it "LOCKED" here in our Network (we call it KITTING, with new Simpack in package), the problem people was that when I use partial flash it restore previous Hongkong-locked Network... as "member-lampin" said...

... It's as simple member-Hanukkah and member-JammerOne would say... but this method was no success at all...

... Now I would try using Dre crew's partials (I think it would be the same)...

...but anyway people, this is what this forum is all about, sharing one's knowledge was great in return...

Maybe you could try 20-30 flash from a 3210 v6.00 from a phone with the network to wich you want to lock the phones to...(Of course the flash should be read from locked phone)

it is just a thaught.....

I also have A program called nokia stripper 5.01 it is edit version from nokiatool 035 I never tested this program or even looked at it but maybe it works.. if you want it mail me.

I will be on vacation tommorow so do it today or else wait till 22-08 then I will be back. Best regards, Salami1_1

Jic, when you full flash, locks the phone back to its original network!!!!!!

As Lacika said, you have to make a backup from each of v6.00 first. Then downgrade the units one by one with a fullflash below v5.31 (phone can't log the network). Now you can lock it to the desired network. Then flash them one by one with the v6.00 backup. This is the only solution for your problem.
