how to find the flash version on the phone - GSM-Forum

hi,
i take off the phone cover and i started to searched the IC one by one on the phone to find where its written the version or the number of the flash and which one is the flash IC?
my Phone is 6210.

can anybody tell how to find the flash kind or version etc...?

help plz.

i think what you are trying to say is..

what part flash file do i use to unlock? yes?
if so.
type in #0000# with a sim in.
if that don't work use nokiatool or somit similar to read it.

thanks for your answere this we do it to know the version.
what i mean is how to know the file number which kind intel,atmel,micron, etc.....

You have to open the phone and find the flash chip located on the main board if you fail to find it try reading with Dejan and check the flash id. post that and someone will be able to help.

Or use jethro 3.11 select type phone press unlock, now soft version and chip is appears. Press no. And you know what it is, without to unlock... :-)
