How an unknown 5110 became a 5110 5.28 with changed imei :)

to start off i want to say Dejan for president!!, must admit that man is a genuis

so anyhow, i had a 5110 (unknown ver) that i mucked up by flashing it with a faulty cable
(sum ppl just wernt ment to solder! ) phone died ....

i then mannaged to fix up the cable and decided to flash the phone with full flash ver 5.28 ,turned on, wow it lit up but said contact service and all locks on, but u guys kno that already, so sat messing about, i copied a partial flash from fatum over the full flash using a hex editor to same address 250000. still all locks closed and contact service ... then copied the whole file to the end of itself making the full flash now 2 megs...and flashed the phone all locks gone Wow why i dont know, cause i dont know what is at address 30000 to 40000 on the phone... contact service still there tho
opend up wintesla it changed to local mode and ran all tests and past.. then set factory defaults,turn phone off then on ..tada enter pin apears ,me falls over..

original imei number is 656565...repeated
and imei number was wierd 23<345662D

i then used a program for changing the original imei number (nse-oic) so thats kewl now, i also changed the imei number using a program for a nokia 3210, that worked 2

but and heres the problems...it says sim card rejected (after entering pin), even tho all locks open the mnc gid1 and gid2 and that 10 digit number imsi or summing look wierd mnc is 00000 gid 1 and 2 are ffff and imsi is 0000000000 can i change these?
but then i played sum more (ok ok so i got nuthing betta to do than trash nokia's)
i found a visual basic proggie with source called mobileFbus plug phone in when it says simcard rejected then sent 1234567890 dtmf tone to phone via fbus, o look the phone clears and presents the menu button, no signal but u got full use of all the menu's and netmon, i have found that the phone is regestering on my home network and everything looks phine, any ideas on what improvemnets i should make in order to get the sim card rejected thing to go away..?

is it because of the address range 30000 to 40000 that i over wrote, i cant clear the locks if i dont do it that way..

come on guru's tell this idjut , i feel im so close after having a dead phone to a semi working 1 in one weekend ..

one other thing i can dial 112 (emergancy) and that works, can this number be changed so this phone can dial that number without any security checks, as i am only using it to dial a work modem ...

one other thing i read there are other chips that u can use with the flasher a 7h132 or summing if any1 got the diagrams please forawrd to [email protected]

im still having a lil trouble with my cable,running on a intel 750mhz, but works none the less..just would like to try other diagrams to c wott gives the best results..
