Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | Thanks for that, but like I said it is not the screen, or the screen connector. it is not a bad connection between the main board and the screen. I have also had the board in an ultrasonic bath for an hour, and the fault is still there. Any other ideas anyone |

Member: 8095 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Lines missing I have seen this before. Unfortunately, i didn't have time to look at this phone. I suggest you get another 33xx to compare continuity and check for broken tracks on the LCD pads. Also check BGA chips for dry joints (reflow BGA's if you can). Not sure but this could also be linked to LCD. The one i saw with the same problem you have had also been in ultra sonic tank. must have had water damage. |

Member: 2830 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi, I had same problem with a 3330, problem solved by changing screen for one made by different manufacturer ( I think that nokia use screen from 2/3 different manufacturers (philips etc) on 3310/3330. You can tell difference by looking at connector. Regards max |

Member: 10048 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | @blartiarfast your first post said (not elastomer) i have changed dozens of 33xx displays but never seen one with an elastomer, all the ones i see have contacts (pin type) so changing the lcd does seem like a possibility. |

Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | Sorry for any confusion, but when I said elastomer, I just meant the connector between the screen and the mainboard. I said this in an attempt to cut down useful replies to the fault requested that I have already tested |
