Member: 4205 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Missing line in display? A friend of mine has a missing line is his display. I've seen this on a 8210 before (2 lines), just after a new display was installed. Is there any way to fix this? What's wrong? /Lasse |

Member: 5006 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | He must have dropped it. It he can see two black lines across the display it is broken screen resistors. If it is a blank line, (no display) you need a pad. I sell them for £5. |

Member: 4873 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | change the LCD!! changing the elastomer can sometimes work but seldomly - these lines are usually made when phone is dropped or there is pressure or force is exerted on the lcd display e.g sat down on the phone with a heavy A$$ |

Member: 4873 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | you might applied a little too much pressure while installing the lcd laxxe...guess you have to replace again... - 8210 LCD's are very thin and are sensitive to pressure, make sure that you just handle it lightly Best regards!! |
