Arrow To mop, pls read mate!

@mop

Firstly, thanks for a very informative site. The 3310->3315 conversion was very comprehensive. I just wanted to ask what's so special about 3315 Stopwatch function since 3310 already has this then why was it included in the new 3315 features listing?

Secondly, what is this menu in the picture?

How do you enable this? Looks like a NetMonitor Test, not so sure though. Please explain a little mate.

Thanks mop. Keep up the good work!

Exclamation

Well, I thought so. Was kinda wondering it might be a Net Monitor Test. But I guess it's more of an Op Logo.

In my personal opinion, NOKIA policy *****! releasing a phone (3315) which is basically a 3310, selling price is PhP2,000 ($40) more than the original 3310! what a rip off!

And you can't even find the damn PDF User Guide for this phone!

Anyways, it's good the forum is here, this way we get it for free!

Yep. Lucky for us (about 5% of the Nokia users), we can charge about US$10 (Php500) to upgrade those who don't know how to convert their 3310 to 3315.

I can't even believe most of our local cellshop here in our city don't know how to convert them. And are even afraid to use Dejan Flashers. I have to do private tutorials to their supervisors on how to flash.

hehehehe, wicked! Got my share of experience to tell, I went to this telecom shop the day after 3315 conversion made news in the forum. By that time their very first 3315 was just out of the box, very brand new, still have the first version of MCU in it (v5.24 i believe), virgin still, I should say. Then I asked her whats the new feature of the 3315. As she finished her speech I showed her my 3310 v5.47 with 3315 features, she just went silent and said that it's probably a different phone model I have. And I said "yes, my father is an engineer in NOKIA Finland, this is the top secret model they have. Limited units only and I was lucky to have one." Hehehehe boy, her face was full of awe, for that moment I felt like I was Bond, James Bond. Hehehe.

its exactly the same as the 3210. nse9 in asia had extra games and vibra motor, nse8 in the rest of the world had the games, had the space for the motor but nokia didnt put it on! think how pissed you would be if you bought a new phone one day, next day nokia releases a software version with loads more features! then think how busy nokia would be having to provide these updates (even only 1 bit) for free! thats you reason
