Nokia 7110 Contact Service Problem - GSM-Forum

My Nokia 7110 v4.73 says contact service after flashing. I first flashed it with a partial flash, but this did not work and than I flashed it with the original backup 200000-400000 and now it says contact service. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Yes,

if you want make full backup, so make "FULL BACKUP"!!! This is for N7110 200000-600000. After back upload your backup is half orig. FW and 2nd half from another phone. Now you have bad checksum in MCU and also bad config data into EEPROM. If you back upload orig. MCU and PPM, data in EEPROM automaticaly repaired, maximal you must using factory default. After this you have phone O.K., when NOT, you try unlock with different partial flash. If you have not working partial, you can adjust - http://gsm.thoic.net/cgi-bin/ultimat...c&f=4&t=000962
