Nokia 7110 flash problem - GSM-Forum

Hi, I fullflashed my Nokia 7110 with software v5.01 and now it shows "sim card rejected". I tried many flashes and many sim cards and nothing works fine. Before flashing the phone was ok. What should I do now? How to solve the problem?

Unlock, update FAID, SFS . . .

Don't be silly ;-) I did it just after flashing and now I can see that it works on some sim cards and on some other ones it doesn't work ("sim card rejected"). What should I do?

Clean sim card , sim holder, or put peace of paper under sim . . .
BTW, why did you fullflashed it at first ?

I cleaned sim card and sim holder and put a piece of paper on it and it's all the same - the phone accepts only few sim cards...
I fullflashed it because after soft upgrade I couldn't turn on the phone...

Flash it again. Use files from www.nokiafree.org.
