Nokia 8210 lcd replacement.

I have cracked my lcd screen and bought just the screen for 17 pounds. Please tell me how do i remove the old one. Is it by removing the white piece of plastic.

Please give me directions and tips on replacing the new one, or do i have to buy the metal casing as well, and how easy it is to fit the new lcd on

It is for the Nokia 8210.

here goes... remove the four screws on the phone then separate the pcb to the metal holder of the lcd with the keypad membrane , these two halves are jointed by the 2 clips on each side of the phone.... now on the lcd plate... u can see 5 plastic rivets... 4 above the lcd and 1 near the speaker... remove them by sidecutter or blades... next there are 4 clips 2 on each side of the lcd.... these can be easily removed with ur nails.... after removing them... u can now liftthe metal part from the plasic part.. remove the lcd and replace it.... after that secure the clips again on both side... slightly lift the contacts of the speakers to asure it will touch the pcb.... check if the backup battery is in place..... goodluck...
