No network 3310 v5.03 - GSM-Forum

hi all
i have nokia 3310 v503. after unlock my phone good work 2 days and no network. next day i'm upgrade and downgrade my phone. but no result. I think my be Nokia Servis Center repair it. help me

Tell me if phone find network if you choose "Manual search" in menu...

Phone finds all operators but when I choose my operator there is a message: No access

In that case you need to change PF08109 first and if this solution is not working try resolder cobba with hot air...

Hi C35

I would advise you not to hotair the COBBA if you are not
a good master. Or the probability of your phone to become dead
is very high.

If the phone gives operator names when "manual search" is
selected, it means PFO`s RX part is working. Why not TX part?

Take out SIM card. Turn the phone on. Wait for 20-30 seconds &
make "emergency call" (I don`t know what is the number in your
land) near any radio device. Then say us what you heard.

I belive the malfunction is 90% PF 08109...(no emission)

If cobba is destroyed it can be changed (3310, 3330,
6210 or 8210) and use new prog. from Dejan(nk_calc - F2).
It is true, you have to be verry carefull with hot air...

Yes, since you got good network reception based on "manual search," you should check first if you have an rf emission before changing RF Power Amplifier Module. I use rf power meter (on units with output connectors) or a simple outside "light gadgets" to monitor or confirm rf signal radiation.

Hi all!

As DCT4 emerged, DCT3 prices are going down so quality too.
I suppose, within several months we will face a lot new threads with "My Nokia has no network" or "My Nokia has no transmisson".

I think it is time to start a big discussion on network & TX problems of Nokia phones. Although I am supposed to be newbie
in this forum, I am working in this area for about one year. I would
share my little experience with pleasure.

Any suggestions
