hey guys,

i have the same problem here. i have the 5.03 flash file but when i try to write it to the phone, the phone either reboots or signal drops. hope you can mail me the solution. thanx in advance.

Hi Muscleman.

You should have two partials. The first one - unlocked and the second - the original one, i.e. the original content of the flash before unlocking. If you have problems with "no network" and "rebooting" try restoring the whole MCU (200000-330000).

2 partial File System only works if lock 1 is closed (MCC+MNC)

the second flash file is just a back up of the area flashed with the first file (00280000 to 00290000)

Instructions:-<br />1) Flash the phone with the partial download below, you have the right adress<br />3) After that use NOKIA TOOL and put FFFFF in the MCC+MNC field, try to close the lock you'll get "error closing lock".<br />4) Switch the phone off before pressing ok to the error warning (within 10 secs)<br />5) Flash the orginal 64kb locked partial (your backup 00280000 to 00290000).

First read original partial flash from 28-29. Than open locks with unlocked partial.<br />Use the cracked Winlock 1.10 soft and press read phone.<br />Than fill the fields at lock 1 and lock 4 with "????...", set lock 1 and lock 4 to close and press the "Close SimLocks" bottom.<br />Than flash back the original partial. Your phone is now relocked to lock 1 and lock 4 with "FFFF..." and works 100% fine!! <br />solution by "JAN"

You're the author of this great solution. Are you sure ????? should be typed not FFFFF and does this works on locks 1 and 4 or 1 and 2.

Hi all,<br />this solution works only 100% if lock 1+4 is closed !!<br />You can also try it if your phone is locked by 1+2 but it don´t work with any simcard.<br />I have try it with a phone who is locked by the german provider D1. It was locked by lock 1+2.<br />After unlocking-solution it don´t work with D1 but it works with the providers D2,e-plus and intercom !!

I would just like to clarify things if you don't mind.

Does that mean that Locks 1 and 2 could be unlocked using solution and it could work on other providers except D1?

And: Locks 1 and 4 could be unlocked and works on all providers?

Finally: should "?????" be typed instead of "FFFF" of any of the two and is there any possibility that default locks could be restore by flashing back the lock partial?

This is the experience i have made with a phone who is locked by locks 1+2. All i can say is it don´t work with any simcard. Lock 1+4 works 100% with this solution.<br />I you want to flash back the original locks you have to flash your phone with the full backup.<br />Before you make anything with your phone backup it from 20-40. That´s very important.<br />The solution with "????" any winlock 1.10 is from the member "jan". I have try it with nokia tool and fill the lock 1+4 with ffff but it don´t work.<br />So you have to use winlock, that works.
