Nokia Flasher cable how do I get it to work with 3310 / All Nokia Phones - GSM-Forum

I have just bought a nokia parellel flasher cable but no matter what I do I can not get it to locate the phone which are properley plugged in can any one help I am running through a compaq 1200 laptop also which is the best unlocking software to use for English based networks?

laptops can be a problem but the first checks would be
1) in your bios(setup) your printer port is set to either ECP or ECP and EPP
2) the cover/rubber surround which protects the pins on your adapters have been removed.
3)you use software which you know works without any hassle or possible installation probs.

i would suggest dark flasher 205.
which i can supply to you or you can search through recent posts.
