3310 5.11 - No Startup Animation? - GSM-Forum

Respects to All Forum Members,

Good Day.<br />I happened to flash my 3310 to the latest SW (5.11 with PPM-G). I noted that the startup animation does not appear even without any startup message set. Is this an expected change or is it a bug? or something I missed to reset? I reset the SMC & UI settings with Nokia Tool and even tried to reset phone to factory setting but no improvements.

I think others have this little annoying problem too!

Got the problem solved:

Using an old full backup (v4.19), I managed to get the logo back.

Reflashed the new MCU&PPM v5.11

However I skipped the reset of UI & SCM by Nokia Tool because this will erase the startup animation. What I did was I just restored factory settings and reloaded all picture messages with logomanager. Now the phone works fine.
