Please help! no network after updraded. - GSM-Forum

I have an 8290 with rom 5, has no signal and network after upgraded. but sometimes it picks up signal and network in a minute ~ 1/2 hour, after that very stable connection, i can make and receuve a call, then if i turn the phone off/on again, the problem comes again.

Here what i did: ( I did some phones with same thing a couple times before very smooth and with no problem)
The firmware version was V5.06, i flashed to v5.22 (MCU, MPP, Eeprom), and i used Nokia Tool 3.03 to changed original IMEI, then used Eeprom tool to update authorityID, unlocked, Repair IMEI and Factory Reset.

Anyone can help solve this problem?

Try this recalculating flashid,your cheksum is bad

Can you tell what program for recalculating, and step by step to flash ID?

Use dejan box,and dct3 workshop or phonix service software

i don't have that dejan box, so i can't try anything else. right?

download rolis 1.8 ....read ram from a working phone..and save
write ram into bad phone then turnnetwork monitor on and update faid or authority ID...should be ok...

if checksum is not ok,, then there must have been no network even after 1 hr.... must have been some other fault...

plz post how u came ver the prob
