Problem with WinDDP flasher BOX

Some time ago (on 21st of December 2001) my WinDDP flasher box stopped calculating Authority ID after flashing, so it lost its primary function. It only says "Error in BOX" while trying to perform this operation. All the other functions (flashing, unlocking, etc.) are working. I tried to use different versions of WinDDP flashing program on various computers - no way.

Did somebody have such a problem? How can I solve it to make the box work again? Authority ID calculation had stopped without a clear reason (no opening the box, no AC overloads...)

The box was bought from <a href="http://www.gsmgroup.net," target="_blank">www.gsmgroup.net,</a> and I tried to receive some technical support from them all this time, but received nothing. So I decided to put this problem on forum because I have no hope to receive support from them anymore.

hi Vasuk<br />if ur box was working then stop without any changes in pc or box try to do next<br />1- try to go to register and erase the key then press ok after that close the program and open it again it will ask for the key send me your ID and i will calculate new key for u

2- try to open dejan part and resolder all pic pins it happens they may have miscontacts<br />inform me if any changes happen

I asked you about it via ICQ some time ago and you had already calculated several WinDDP keys for me - no help. So I can say that Step 1 from your advice is complete.

I checked and resoldered all the connections inside the dongle - no help. Step 2 complete ;-))

The pity is I actually have 2 similar WinDDP boxes bought from GSMGroup - both of them stopped working within 1 day interval. Both of them have the same problem with calculating Authority ID. The boxes are placed on different service points and couldn't interfere between each other. They couldn't be damaged by one malfunctioning computer so far.

Any other clues?

yes very easy

whoever sold it made the downconter hit 0<br />so no more calculations possible<br />it is dejan pic and he made downcounter possible<br />so i am afraid you have to buy new one<br />but then everyone was warned about support.....

These boxes were sold to me by GSMGroup ( [email protected] ) from Romania and I paid 2500 usd for 2 boxes.<br />They swore the boxes are unlimited and completely log-independent.<br />Maybe all of us should treat this SW sellers as CHEATERS.

If this box connects with Dejan 1.05 you should try F10 function, maybe it works !!!!!!

Hello Vasuk,

If box will not connect using 1.05 soft by Dejan,<br />Then you have to remove the PIC, and make Dejan<br />Dongle using scheme in the internet. After, if<br />you build dongle correctly, connect it to Dejan<br />1.05 soft and initialize it using F10 option...<br />The PIC will be 100% fine after <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

This error is known bug of PIC, <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> but now<br />dejan 1.05 fix it...

As I said, I used all available versions of WinDDP with codes correctly calculated - SW accepted them. Sometimes several different Authorisation codes were entered for the same computer and the same Application ID. What should I mail you?
