SOLVED THE FREEZE PROBLEM IN 8850!!!!! Please post below your observations..

As many of you have noticed Nokia 8850 with SW versions 5.26 and 5.27 have
fatal 'freeze' bug...eventually they just lock up (stop responding to any
keypresses) and ONLY way to fix it is to ermove the battery and put it on
again...

I took few Nokias and made some testing...it seems that it happens ONLY
after an IrDa connection with a PC (not with another phone, or at least noth
after sending business cards via IR to 6210 7110 and 2 player snake with
6150 and 8210)...

Now, the solution is: WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR ADTA CONNECTION,
LOGOSENDING OR WHATEVER YOU DID CONNECTED TO PC TURN OF YOUR N8850, REMOVE
THE BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK AGAIN....... So far I found bug not comming
anymore if I reset the phone(s) that way..

If you had an IR connection phone will freeze (I noticed) in 30% of cases in
some time later that day.....

Also, I tried NOT TO REMOVE THE BATTERY, and problem was the same.....

This is just a start, please post below your replies and observations, maybe
I slipped something out...

Also, If you have 8850 that has never seen IR and still freezes, let us know
the SW versions, and one morre important thing...does it have ALS enabled
(Line 2, alternate line)
