lol : -> read backup from phone -> copy checksum from ppm (at the end of it - dunno where the **** is that) -> download desired ppm and replace the checksum of it with the one from the back up -> flash this edited ppm back to the phone -> now restore phone to factor settings -> then report to him what's going on <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

I hope I remembered the stuff <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> GreetZ!

Hrm... sounds pretty intesting! Anyone tried it? Where exactly is the checksum? I'll be able to test on 6150 soonish!

PPM CHK are at ppm end (last 4 bytes) example : nokia 3310v423 PPM D flash $1CFFFF :FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF60CF92070C65 PPM CHK= 92 07 0C 65

Here is solution: Nokia DCT3 Update PPM without calculating faid!

1-Full Backup your phone. 2-Read PPM Checksum from end of ppm in your backup.(in 51xx,61xx,3210 at end of backup) 3-Pick a new ppm file which u like to upload it to your phone & change PPM Checksum of new PPM file to Readed PPM checksum from backup. 4-Flash new PPM (checksum changed) to phone. 5-Power on phone & reset to factory. 6-Report me...

HEEEEEEEEY!!!! I CORRECT IT!!! NOW WORK 10000000% TESTED on 5110,5130,3310,8210!!! Here is solution:

1-Full Backup your phone. 2-Read 6 bytes from end of ppm in your backup.(in 51xx,61xx,3210 at end of backup) 3-Pick a new ppm file which u like to upload it to your phone & change last 6 bytes of new PPM file to Readed 6 bytes from backup. 4-Flash new PPM (checksum changed) to phone. 5-Power on phone & PHONE WORK 100000%

After uploading ppm,not msid change and not CONTACT SERVICE at all then => PHONE WORKS 100%
