Member: 10854 Status: Offline Sonork: 1578988 Thanks Meter: 3 | hiya mate Check power consumption...should be 0.2 - 0.6 mAmps when power off...If ok try to power on phone and watch consumption...If above 100 mAmps desolder L513 and check again...If same, solder it back and desolder L201 and check again...If still same there is big chance that CPU is damaged ( addres, data line and ports - i think ports b'cause if one of them short circuited, when activated ***** too much power and ccont power phone down. Also it could be flash or ram, when activated ( on boot ) goes short circuit. If u can flash phone normally flash and ram are ok. There is a coil ( i will let u know part number ) which is used to supply core voltage to cpu: if cpu ***** too much current u can hook it off from VB lines by removing that coil so u can derive where fault is... I assume that battery and contacts are ok and good flash and eeprom are in... Sometimes PA is short circuited and u will check it by removing L513 ( if power consumption is ok after removing L513 then PA is short circuited ). Anyway, let me know what happened and supply me more details ( can u flash phone , what happened when it goes failure, etc ). BR Vule P.S. I like DCT3 phones 'cause u can tear them apart, get them back and they still working ( i recently completed few 3310/3330 from damaged boards and spare parts - LOL)... |

Member: 5246 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | BTW, I forgot to tell you that PA is not soldered. The phone just BLINKS at power on even without CCONT. Phone wont flash. I'll try to update you after I do some repairs from the tips you gave me. Thanks |

Member: 10854 Status: Offline Sonork: 1578988 Thanks Meter: 3 | Hiya Yesterday i get 3310 which dropped on floor and no signal... I have changed CCONT, COBBA, HAGAR, antenna switch and flash good firmware+eep in it but still no signal...Not even trace of it LOL In wintesla all seems to be ok except RSSI value: it changes from -35 to - 144.7 dBm ( normally is -105 to -125 dBm at my location ).. I have never seen something like that... I think that CPU is kaputt lol Any ideas? BR Vule |
