WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?

I have managed to obtain (LEGALLY!) a Nokia 6160 which is an American version of a digital 6110.It is brand spanking new,in the box with all papers, but it has no space for a sim card! It is a pay as you go that u top up with your crdit card with at&t for when u r in the states. It just needs topping up and its ready to roll! Now apart from selling it (which i might do) ,can i use or modify it for any other use?

Like you said... a "pay as you go" solution without SIM!
The account sits at the providers computer like with any other prepaid cards as well, except you will always have to use this phone with the same provider

With a "normal" prepaid phone you can still change the SIM (if unlocked) and select a cheaper provider of your choice.

Hi, It's an American phone and it's analouge! If you want to reprogram it you would need to alter the ESN and NAM but I don't think there is any where ai Europe still using analouge?

Cheers, Laupster

It is an AT&T DIGITAL PCS NOKIA. I know this because it says it on the box and on the handset itself.
