When power on only "fligft profile active" - GSM-Forum

When power on only "fligft profile active". I needed reflash 9210, come into Profile direct via the button on the up panel, choose flight. Now phone shows only "fligft profile active". What is to do? they say there is a code to reset the phone from such condition. Please help.

no need to flash

put charger and reset by mbus cable

press menu on main screen
after tools, there is a profile icon, you can change profile direct from there.
try and post result.

The main trouble is that PDA doesn't work. I explain as it was: no one used this 9210 within about 3 months. When i charged it and switched on the phone worked but only as mobile. The communicator failed to turn on. There are only two hands on the LCD. I used it some times as the cellular phone. Than i tryed to change profile - and it frose. And now it beeps when i put the battery to the place. And when i push the power button The external LCD shows me "Flight profile active" - during 10 sec, than it disappears.
What is to do? The PDA doesn't work itself.

just remove the mmc card from the fone.it will be ok.

then insert mmc ,while the pda is on,it will read the card ,bakup neccery items from the card and then format it .

to formate mmc card, press ''office'' then ''enter'' u will see ''file storage'' select memory card and press ''menu'' u will see a menu list ,select memory card and at the bottom in sub menu ,u will see

''format memory card.......'' select it and hit enter. thats all.

For me it doesn't work. I repeat it again - the most difficult trouble is that pda doesn't work correctly. When i open the flip it shows only 2 hands (Nokia's startup logo). In 1 minute the logo disappears and than only lighted LCD. And "beep" every 4-5 minutes. When i close it and push ON button - "Flight profile active" - nothing more. 112 - it tries to make a call, but nothing. Other buttons - no reaction.
How to bring it alive? Griffin instruction says i must set Fbus before flashing. But how - it doesn't turn on. MMC - i think so - doesn't contents anything, at least i tried to remove it, to open flip and put it back when switched on - no result.
Perhaps i must fill it with neccesary content via card-reader? What content? Please help, it drives me up the wall...

no need to set fbus. just use manual mode and flash your phone. after flash finished use mbus cable & eeprom tools to update faid.

or, if no important data in your phone (ex. contact data) I think no need to flashing the phone, just format the PDA.

remove mmc ,and open flip ,after 2hands logo,,,it will take some time,,approx 2miniuts,,and check if it working corectly ,,,,if it stucks than u have to flash it with griffin.

I removed mmc opened flip. In 1 minutes hands disapeared and that's all. How to flash it with Griffin, box doesn't see the phone. I push "detect phone" - no result. "switch on manually and push OK".
And 1 more thing - u say "format PDA". Data is of no importance, how to do it, how to format? PDA reflects only to "shift+ctrl+>" "shift+ctrl+<" and to reload combination. How to format - step by step explanation. Please.

insert battery, open theflip and press shift+ctrl+f for 4-5 seconds before starup hand logo appear. if the phone ask for format/cancel, press format and wait for a few seconds. if formating complete your phone will be rebooting...

just but your sim card inside and open the intermal device with out powering on go to profile and change it then power on the phone.

Of course I share it.
I removed mmc, turn on phone and put mmc back. Nothing. Then I decided that smth wrong with the mmc content. I overwrote it with card reader and did the operation again. Removed mmc etc. Then I connected pda to Griffin and chose mcu & ppm in manual mode. Push “Flash” and the process started!!! When it was flashed (with sim-card inside), connected it via Mbus cable and activated NetMonitor. Selected Fbus in the 031rd point and set FAID for 9210 in Griffin. Now it worked perfectly. Thanks to all once again.
The trouble was in mmc content but who knew?
PDA didn’t and doesn’t respond to shft+ctrl+f. Perhaps because of the version.
