3100/20 speaker & mic
 

Dear Friends,

I have 3, 3100 phones with speaker and mic problem I checked all the hardware point (speaker, mic, tracks ) and software point (erased full flash and flashed mcu,ppm and pm with ufs3) with no result.

I can hear keypad tones, ringtones as usual but when make a call there is no sound at all.


Please guide me to solve the problem.

i think the problem in UPP
apply some paste and rehot UPP if not than change UPP

It's no needed at all ... mostly new 3100/3120 have this problem after downgrade, so check - if phone die on version under 6.01 then flashing to 6.11 will bring back MIC and Speaker ... also check it if speaker sound exist on key pressing, but missing when call is active - same - version downgrade damage - there is a new UPP signature :) and needed to be more or equal to 6.11

upp v835 good for 3100 and 3200. try replace it w/ 826 earpiece *****piece it out,

maybe its need good pm only because when we convert 3120b to3100 we see this problem .

No! ... using 3100b -> 3100 PM will not solve sound problem on new Nokia3100/20 - already tested and not working, any good PM from 3100 / 3120 is compatible, but SW version MUST be upgraded to 6.11 ... there is new UPP 8514 vs old 4384 and without changing will not work with SW under 6.11, also preffered to use Phoenix service SW v 2005.44.4.120 or later to service these units.

flash to 6.11 not solving this problem also, i just got one exactly same problem with the decribed one.

trying from other good phone pm also not solving.

changed UEM, not work also.

Solved, Just change the UPP, flash it with 6.11 everything will be fine.

THANX for reply. I ve just try to upgrade to v6.11 and work now. If similar problem appear and solution of upgrade dont works out I will try to change UPP
