3510 4.24 and cheap flasher - GSM-Forum

Hi to all,
at first my cheap flasher finally work.
Thanks to all who gave me any answer, especially to "swand" which really help me.
What was wrong. All of you told that BSI must be connect, BUT BTEMP MUST ALSO BE CONNECTED, that is a reason why flasher doesn't work.

OK, now I flash 3510 3.37 only PPM successful, but when I tried 3510 4.24, on the beggining of erasing get message
"Error during erase process". Of course mobile is dead.
I tried different FIA 2,14 (Invalid model descriptor recieved), only with old FIAs and FIA_NEW_3510 get message
Error during erase process with other FIA get Invalid....
I can't found new FIA version 3.0 because www.freegsm.biz is down.
Does anybody successful flash 3510 4.24 with cheap flasher if YES could you tell me right FIA for this model.
Notice: or maybe is ti not problem with FIA in this case?

You have big problem with this fhone and cheep flasher, I will try to search new FIa files for flasher !! And check all building in your cheep flasher !

I think that problem exist in FIA,
becasue everythink works fine with 3510 3.37
but with 4.24 I used different fias, and with someone get message
"Error during erase procces", and wit other "Invalid model..."
I can't belive that noboby flash this model with cheap flasher.
If somebody done, please send us fia for this model

I test sucsefully flash PPM 3510 v4.24 used FIa for 8310/6510 !!!!! -100 % work

Dear +,
thanks RUM but doesn't work get "Access violation......

I saw with old fias that flash ID inside is:
0X00898874 - 0X0120

Can anybody help and give me right fia for this flash!!

What can I found?
I still back Nokia 3.37 and flash it without problem the flash ID is the same like 4.24
0X00898874 - 0X0120
but when I tried flash 4.24 with the same FIA and Flash ID on the beggining get message
"Error during erase procces", under program is
Erasing from 0X015A0000, phone now is dead.

I still have one 4.24 but don't would like to kill it.

Friends What is your suggestion?

I've never had any problem using cheap (original) flasher.
It work very good, i've killed one 3510 using Griffin, and revived with cheap flasher. (Flashed 3510i MCU&PPM, phone was dead, flashed back 5.00 MCU&PPM for 3510, and phone was still dead, than i've flashed it with cheap flasher and phone was alive. After that, i've flashed it again with cheap flasher with 3510i flash, just for test, and flashed it back to 3510 with no problems at all.)

So, i still think cheap flasher is BEST DCT4 flasher out.

Does anybody bought Nokia 3510 ver 4.24 from Austria provider "One" and successful flash it, if yes which FIA is used

I can flash my 3510 4.24 with 4.24, 3.37, 5.02 but after flashing can't switch on. It is total dead.
I don't what happend, before was OK, but I tried also MCU+PPM a few time but without success.
I can flash it to all version, but can't turn it on.
Is it possible that is hardware problem, but if yes, how can I flash it, because if hardware is damaged it could not to be flashed.

Maybe someone with more expiriance can help me.
I connect BSI from mobile with wire to flasher cable, is it possible that I connected something wrong and damaged phone(e.t. is it possible damaged if I connect +Voltage from mobile to BSI of cable because maybe is little made touch I don't know.)

i have the same problem.. i cant turn it on if i downgrade to v.3,37 or other version..

but when i flash it again to v 4.24, i do not have any problem...

strange... the same happens with a 7210...

I HAVE THE SAME BIG PROBLEM...
Phone was 3510 v424 i downgrade for language becose i dont find in my computer 424....after downgrade phone dead....i put after that , 424, 500, and 502...phone NOT power on or enter in test mode...i dont belive is hardware problem...phone was very good before....
I see there is no solution for this problem yet...
If sombody has a solution please post here or contact me ...thanks

In this case, I think the best solution for you is not hardware solution!!!!!!!!
Pls use onother equipment and reflash your phone!!!!!!!Example:Griffin, Prodigy, .....etc.....
