6310i strange problem, help me! - GSM-Forum

Hi there1

Have this phone NOKIA 6310i and also the cable M-bus/F-bus, don't really know which one,couse on the package are written both. It's the cable for NOKIA 5510, 6110, 6150 and do u think is it good also for NOKIa 6310i?
So, I try to unlock my mobile phone with JIC DCT4 software.
When I push the "Reset phone code" function, conestion is good and code is reseted to 12345.
Then, when I push "Unlock" function, phone reset to Test Mode and nothin happend, only message shows on the screen, that :

- Phone doesn't answer.
- Check your cable or if the phone is conecter and turn it on

And actually it is!!! .... strange isn't it?

So, what should I do? What did I do wrong? Should I Use some other software. I try to read the phone info with Roolis 1.8 Tools, and it also could find the phone.
Is ther any other way to unlock my phone?

Please, Help me!

Software version of my Mobile Nokia 6310i is 5.10 .

This software version cant be unlocked with free unlocker like Jic or Tweak.If you have a flasher you can downgrade to 4.80 and unlock.

OK, can someone tell me step by step how to downgrade software and which soft should I use???

I think ther first thing you need is to buy a cheap DCT4 Flasher, then the one whom you bought it will teach you how to use it...
