Actions taken: Choose from the settings menu: "Settings" - "Display Settings" - "Wallpaper" - "Change Image"

Status: Solved. Wallpaper could now be set from the Gallery menu till an image is downloaded to the PC again. Therefore, set wallpaper from Display Settings.

No more, huh? And they say 7250i is a buggy phone...sheesh!

If anyone has any more solved or unsolved 7250i bugs / problems just post them in this thread. I will post more reports if I experience any more problems (hopefully none).

Hope this thread helps troubled 7250i users.

I agree with mobilemafia, Nokia better get their act together before they lose their market share to up and coming manufacturers like Samsung and Panasonic. Then again, these bugs are firmware problems. Could be easily fixed with a firmware upgrade when it comes out. Come on Nokia!

That goes for SE too with their even buggier and T610!! I've had both phones, rather the 7250i anyday. I could probably do a 10 page bugs report on the T610.

And what's with the ascending ringtone?? Why doesn't SE make an option to turn that feature off so that I could hear the phone when it rings. I missed about 5 out of 10 calls a day with that phone. The reason why I didn't miss those 5 calls was because it's in my pocket and i've got it on vibrate. If you don't have the phone on you and you're more than 5 metres away, forget it, you're going to miss every call that comes through. Not to mention when you're sleeping! That is one major, major, annoying flaw.

Those who are used to TFT screens won't like T610's screen in bright lights. I could hardly see anything on the screen in direct sunlight.

And oh Nokia, all those features in the 7250i and no bluetooth? Shame, shame shame! I could pardon the 4k TFT screen. After all, it is a 2003 Q2 phone.

here's a bug:
Nokia 7250i dies at 97% of restoring a backup in logomanager (note the original phone the backup was made from was a 6310i) anyone know how to reset a phone that turns itself off?

Hi Olipro,

What are you trying to back up? I don't know if you could transfer images from 6310i to a 7250i through LogoManager.

It sounds like a LogoManager bug, not a 7250i bug.

I don't get your last sentence:

When you mentioned 'dies', does the phone turn itself off and you can't turn it on again? Or does it turn itself off and on again?

The general term for 'reset' is to switch the phone off, then on again. Do you mean to reset the settings totally as when you got it brand new? (restore factory settings?)

I mean that if I attempt to turn it off, it turns itself off again.
I'm not stupid nor techonologically illiterate just to reiterate.
the phone after going through the first part of what I guess to be a boot sequence, turns itself off, the nokia animation does not start it, turns itself off.
Doesn't matter now as I have had a replacement issued, just don't restore an NLM backup of a 6310i to your phone
