8310 turns off automatically - GSM-Forum

My nokia mobile 8310 is going to switched off/restart automatically not any specific timing after 5 mins, 12 hours, 20 hours etc. Have anyone help me to resolve the problem.

Yes, it restarts. It turns on again after shutting down! It is very irritating if you are talking with somebody and it suddenly restarts! I have heard it's a hardware problem, and the same problem should occur on all 8310! Is that right?

Hi,

You can send it to Nokia service centre to upgrade your software. This is cause by the bugs in the software. But how ever, there is a chip might need to change too. Please refer to the Nokia original service manual. <br />=)

xpmobile is right. There are many, many bugs in the first versions of the 8310. My one has also been resetting all the time until i was updating at nokia service center
