The Nokia 7250i phone is an upgraded version of the Nokia 7250 phone. It offers XHTML support for a better mobile browsing experience, plus improved camera functions, enhanced MMS.

If the 7250i is just an upgraded version of the 7250 then I don't need to dispose my 7250 then buy a 7250i.. I'll just wait for the upgrade flash of the 7250i.. Any ideas where I might be able to download it? Thanks.

Not sure if upgrade is available.
Remember that all latest nokia phones doesnīt support upgrade.
Look at the 6310 to 6310i, 8910 to 8910i or 9210 to 9210i... No upgrade... Thereīs some hardware changes, making impossible upgrade to newest models...

I cant wait to try !!

Hi

I think that mayb its not a hardware difference, cause most of the differences sound like its software rendered.

you can reference it here

http://www.gsmarena.com/

@Drug Store
I wont rule out 7250 >7250i yet because from the DCT4 range 8310>6510 and 6510>8310 is possible.

regards

"8310>6510 and 6510>8310 is possible."
Lol...
Of course it is... same hardware, just different display...
Like 6610>7210 and 7210>6610 is possible... LOL same on 33xx models and 34xx... because hardware is the same. Thatīs all.
And this new things in 7250i seem like hardware improvement.

Regards

Hi

@Drug Store

the key word in your post is it "SEEM" like hardware improvement.
Now i my post i said the same thing,
"I wont rule out 7250 >7250i YET "

so i fully aware that the hardware is the same on all those models you mentioned, i was merely pointing out there is great possiblity that 7250>7250i is possible only by software LIKE those models you so generously mentioned.

By the way what makes you say that there is a hardware improvement ? only seems like software differences if u compare the two.

regards

making no changes at aLL TO hardware has advantages because no testing of new hardware is necessary as its the SAME as before only software upgraded....therefore it'll be much quicker to update software and fix it then to test new hardware manually

Yes and we all like to upgrade our phones...
But Nokia saw that by an year ago.
They thought: "Why we enable upgrade to new models?" "That way, old customers, wonīt buy new models..." " So itīs better to make upgrade impossible" "Old customers need to buy new models"... Easy...

They seen that mostly on 9110 and 9110i... most of 9110i u see were upgraded from 9110. So on 9210, Nokia avoid that mistake...

Of course that we all like to see ours 7250 upgraded to 7250i, or 6310 to 6310i, and etc... But Nokia smell more profit this way...

And I say same thing on Siemens... Look at SL45 and SL45i. A press release from siemens 6 months after launching SL45i, Siemens said that on all SL4x models working with JAVA, at least 40% of them, were SL45 upgraded models. And why they need to lose 40% or 30% on their sales? We wouldnīt need too, if we were in their place...

Anyway, I just remove what I said about being impossible, and pray for this to be true.

Thanks
