Free DCT4 Flasher? - GSM-Forum

Is there free DCT4 flashing software out there - something like Rolis Flasher for DCT3 phones? All I've seen in this forum is stuff you gotta pay for...why isn't there free software like with Rolis?

If there definitely isn't free software, what's the cheapest DCT4 flasher? And where can I purchase it? Thanks in advance!

Erm I don't think I can!

So I take it that means there is no free software I can download and just use flasher cables with? If not, what's the least expensive DCT4 flasher?

But anyway,even if you will build your own dongle
for flashing DCT4 or purchase cheap analogue,I am not sure that you will be able
to flash type 5 of DCT4 or 7210,6610,6100.

If he is wrong about 7210 then he is wrong about 6610 too as they are the same phones. Same data packages.

but 6100 has MBUS removed and CANNOT be flashed using cheap flasher.

ps they can flash the 7210/6610 PPM with no problem but flashin the MCU on 7210/6610 would loose u features like the Java games and content in gallery.

when you say lose features like java games and gallery you mean lose the content but you can just put it back in, or do you mean lose those features (as in you cant use java on the phone anymore) ?

to me its not a cheap flasher its a versatile flasher if you have special or modified mcu files these will not erase java games and others. I have been using DCT4V3 pro for a very long long time with no problems.

ya i have dct4v3 but where can i get modified MCU's i got the official nokia NHL-4 pack for my 7210 but cant seem to figure out which file is which.
it looks like the .180 file is MCU
and the PPM's are.18?
am i right?
is there a content pack somewhere?
