Griffin and RH-9 - GSM-Forum

Anyone try use griffin with RH-9(3510i / 3530)?
When I try to open the flash files it show up nothing in my RH-9 folder
(I already install the flash files, download from www.freegsm.biz)
the file name is shown "*RH-" but no files displayed.
then I try to manual select the file by not connect the phone to the cables and then try to flash with griffin 193, but it the content flashing is allways fail, I get empty ringtones folder...

I also try using old version v180 v192 v192i and v192if but all is the same....
Griffin can unlock, set factory setting and reset sec code.
My box version already 2.35.
How shoud I rename the flash files?
Is there any new box update for 3510i?

check and verify where you installed or put your griffin EXE.
Cause by default, when you install the flash file, you can find it inside c:\program files\nokia\phoenix\product\rh9\

Download the latest version of Griffin v1.96 and Box update file.

Hi watch man,

its very easy. Install original data package for RH-9. Then when selection MCU in open dialog as you said u have mask for files '"*RH-" but this mask is WRONG! Just replace this mask with "*.*" and push enter. Then you see all files in RH-9 directory. Just choose MCU (for example rh9__03.510) and push ok.

Only problem is mask for file listing in open dialog because there is "*RH-" but its not right because RH-9 files are "rh9_*"

you can download Griffin software v1.97U from out website.

as far as I know v1.96 doesnt support N7650 unlocking. But 1.97U can make it without any problem. Just get version 1.97U from our website.

I encountered a problem unlocking 3530(3510i) with version 3.54. Any confirmation that griffin works fine with new rh-9?

Yes, I already try it, griffin can unlock rh-9, just use the correct box update.

Last update of Griffin soft (1.981) also has this bug with RH9.The right mask for MCU button when 3510i is plugged in must be *rh9*.*0 With this mask only MCU files from this directory are shown as needed.However,Griffin is the best.

yes solution is easy..only change mask to rh9* and you'll be able to browse 3510i flashes
