How to unlock 1600?

How do I unlock my nokia 1600?
I only want to use a code and no cables or flashing.
I have USR and tried the unlocker from CRUX, but two times it didnt work!!
So do I have 3 tries left? I want to have it correct in 1 time now.

What are the exect steps? Which Unlock program do I need to use?

Thanks!

How much does a box cost? And with box, you mean connecting it to my computer through a box + cable and flashnig a new firmware onto my phone right?

I really would like to unlock the simlock with a simple code though. Is it true that I only have 5 chances to get the code right? If so then I already used the first 2 chances using the Crux unlocker.

I selected the phone I have, the IMEI, the network operator, and then tried the +1 code (didnt work) and then the +7 code (didnt work either).
The Crux unlocker has many weird options though, maybe I needed to put them right as well?

Anyway, is there a good and easy unlocker which will work?

Thanks!

just use this unlocker

enter ur imei number,
network,
country,
phone model.

and click calculate

enter the code into ur fone

if u done it right it will say "phone restriction off"

or "code error" if u did it wrong

try the first code without simcard
if that fails try with sim card (which fone is not unlocked to)
if that still dont work then try with a sim that works on the phone

if all the above fails u need a cable/box solution

with a box there is no need to flash the fone, just connect fone without sim and press unlock, thats all

Thanks for the reply lboz,

Which unlock program should I use?
I get different codes from different programs.
I tried v1.1 by Crux and
DCT4 calculator 1.0 by TechGSM

Both programs gave me different codes.

So can anybody tell me a 100% working solution?

Thanks for the program.
It seems to be a modification on the calculator v1.1 by Crux.

I can choose from Nokia DCT4 or Nokia 1600 to calculate a code.
I get different codes. Which one should I use? And should I use the +1 or +7 code? I would try them all out but I have only 3 tries left (because I already had 2 codes wrong).

If this doesnt work, how much does a cable/box cost?

choose Nokia 1600

and enter the very first code on the list

also bear in mind that some 1600/1100/cheap virgin/offer fones cant be unlocked by code
