manicphantom Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 3 Member: 422767 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0	My Nokia 8800 Gone funny Hi, I've had a nokia 8800 for over a year now, and when i took to Hong Kong in sept last year it started acting very strange. I'm on a O2 contract here with international roaming, and when i switch my phone on in the HK ******, it found a network and connected. I subsequenly tried to connect to a different network, it connected and then all of a sudden it switched itself off. Oh! Each time i switched it on, it would work for about 1 minute before it switched itself off. Since then, although it works most of the time that i'm back here in the UK. I feel that the battery life is considerably shorter, with the indicator unreliable. Likes to switch off alot. Has anybody had similar problems? I've got version 3.60, which is the best version to upgrade to? So I'm trying to update the firmware now. I'm also having problems with Phoenix sw 2006, can anybody help? (Moan: Nokia 8800 is the most expensive phone i've had and is also the worst in all areas. Almost indestructable screen, but dust can get in through the back. Nokia must have really annoyed the designer for them to come up with the pile of Shte.) Please help ! JC
